  • April 30, 2009 - Nano Sensors Group Undergraduate Student Wins Buck Knight Outstanding Senior Award

    Vikram Chaudhery was named as the winner of the A.R. "Buck" Knight Outstanding Senior Award. The award is given to an individual who has displayed outstanding scholarship and demonstrated leadership in campus activities, including activities that extendbeyond the College of Engineering. The award carries a stipend of $2500. The recipient also receives a silver tac pin in the shape of a knight. The name of the recipient is engraved on a plaque to be displayed permanently in Everitt Lab. After graduation, Mr. Chaudhery plans to earn his PhD in ECE at the University of Illinois, performing his graduate research in the Nano Sensors Group under the direction of Prof. Brian Cunningham. Mr. Chaudhery worked as an undergraduate research assistant in the Nano Sensors Group prior to starting graduate school.
